Total Eclipse at Al Sigl Community

Join us on April 8th for the Total Solar Eclipse. 

This will be the last opportunity to experience a total solar eclipse until 2045!

Rochester sits in the center of the path of totality and you will want to make sure you have a prime spot for viewing.

Our campus offers an accessible viewing area with ample designated parking and paved space for wheelchairs and other equipment. Outdoor accessible restrooms will be available.

 We will have parking available on event day!  Join us to enjoy
-Reserved parking space for the day
-Eclipse glasses for each guest
-Eclipse handbook
-Moon stress ball & family-friendly activities!

What to Expect:
11:00am Gates will open.  Please enter the parking lot from South Avenue.
11-2:00pm Netsins Ice Cream Truck will be available
12:00pm Lunch purchased in advance will be available for pick-up outside of Door #1
Please note, unfortunately we will not be able to offer additional lunches for sale on Monday.  
2:07pm The Eclipse begins as the moon begins to cover the Sun
3:20pm Totality begins
4:33pm Eclipse ends for Rochester
5:00pm Parking lot will close

This is a family-friendly event.
Kids can enjoy chalk art and other outdoor activities while they wait.

Bring your lawn chairs to get comfortable.

 

Pre-registration is now closed but it is not too late!  Gates will open at 11am and parking will be available for a $20 donation.
